Episode 6: Learning from an old hand – featuring Karl Heasman

Tap in to the wisdom of a real pro

If you’re at the start of your agency journey, you probably need all the advice you can get. And some of the most valuable advice will come from those who’ve successfully taken the same path – people like Karl Heasman.

Karl is well known in the agency world. In the early nineties he set up a kitchen table agency, Cognito, initially employing a network of freelancers then building a staff team. Within a few years he’d grown it in to a hugely successful business, which he sold for, well, quite a lot of money. He now works with ambitious creative businesses as an adviser and non-executive director.

What Karl doesn’t know about growing an agency isn’t worth knowing. And, lucky you, he agreed to share some of his wisdom with The KitchenTable Community. Listen out for sage advice on honing your proposition, charging, winning clients and much more.
